Contest

The project is based on the concept of opposition and complementarity between two distinct buildings: one public and one private, connected and unified through art, and linked by an external spiral ramp that replaces stairs and elevators. The overall shape is dictated by the plot, with a mix of public and private spaces distributed over five levels.

The left building houses exhibition functions: an auditorium, an art gallery, and a raised terrace that serves as an urban plaza. The right building alternates between publicly accessible areas and residential and studio spaces for artists, with glazed workshops that showcase the creative process to visitors. The entire complex expresses the idea of “overcoming the wall” through its architecture, materials, and functions.
